At Matt & Nat, no leather! Only vegan products.

It doesn't stop them from making bags that look like it.

In addition, they use environmentally friendly and recycled materials as much as they can.
For instance, they use recycled plastic bottles for the linings of their bags.

Their creations have already found takers among people such as Nathalie Portman, Olivia Wilde, Charlize Theron, Eva Mendes et Emily Deschanel to name only a few.

Against Static!

I recently discovered these reusable static eliminator & softener dryer clothes from the Canadian brand Attitude.

It is good for 300 uses.

If you are doing three drying / week, you're good for 100 weeks, almost 2 years...

Two years without having to think to buy the product!


Obviously, it is more environmentally friendly than disposable dryer sheets.
There's a waste every two years instead of every time you use it.

This product costs 12$ and  is good for 300 uses.
That is equivalent to 4 cents per drying ...

Is it economical enough to your liking?



If you buy the disposable sheets, and you want to make 300 drying using only one sheet at a time, it would cost you 18$.

And I base my calculation on the cheapest sheets I found on IGA's website.

For all these reasons, I decided to buy and try.


There are 2 clothes in the box are used together in one load.

It has been several times that I use the dryer clothes and the result is the same as the disposable sheets give you.
I have no static problem, I did not notice any difference in my clothes.
My clothes are as soft as they were with disposable sheets.

The only difference is that it does not leave a fragrant odor on clothes unlike some disposable sheets.

Having the same result as the standard product, but that is more environmentally friendly and more economical, it is not a difficult choice to make.
Plus, it is CRUELTY FREE!!


For the next two years, I do not think I'll talk about other dryer sheets... lolll

Are you Mistik ?

I discovered, while shopping at Tau, a brand that I now love!

It is quite by chance that I found Mistik Source products.
Since I did not know the brand, I looked at the back of the beautiful green bottles in the hope of finding the information I always want to see, ie products that are not tested on animals.


I was more than satisfied:

You can see the trusted logo of Choose Cruelty Free.

(to see a bunny does not guarantee that there are no tests, that is why I want to see a logo of an independent organization such as CCF, PETA or Leaping Bunny)

We can also see that the product is vegan.
So in addition to not torturing animals in a laboratory, there is no animal ingredients.

So I bought two products:
Volumizing mist and a daily shampoo.

Once at home, I took a look at their website to realize that this company is Canadian.
It's always nice to encourage business from here!

It has become one of my favorite products instantly!

I keep it with me day and night in my bag.

My hair is heavy.
Despite this, I get more volume when using this product.
I like the result.

It should not be forgotten that the product smells divinely good!
It is made with orchids.

I consider my money is well spent!

Daily Shampoo

There is no other shampoo that smells as good as this one.
Smells kinda like candies.

Must be the blueberries.

However, this shampoo isn't foaming as much as other brands.
But foams enough to let you wash all your hair.

The result is beautiful soft hair, shiny and clean.
24 hours later, the hair is still beautiful.

It is not all shampoos that can brag about that.





I love the products Mistik Source, I will continue to buy them!

I have discovered lately a really interesting blog ''made in Quebec''.

That website talks about the animal condition into our society.
It goes from animal testing to vegetarian restaurants without forgetting rescues and a lot more.

The blog is in french.

Going through the blog, we get to know its author is vegan.

I am vegetarian for more than 3 years now, but I wanna go vegan in 2013.


This blog will for sure help me.


For those of you who want to lower their participation in animal suffering, this blog will provide you with a lot of good information and inspiration. At every level.

There is not so many blogs as well written as hers.

Attitude already impressed us with their household products.

Now, there's the bodycare line, I'm sure you saw it in stores.


It goes from deodorant to shampoo & conditionner to the body wash & body lotion. Also let's not forget the soap.

This Montreal brand is expanding and certified cruelty free by CCF.

I have long used their laundry detergent , their dishwasher pouches and their disinfectant.

I am very satisfied, and this is the reason why I tried one of their new products.

It is just amazing !
It makes a lot of foam & leaves my hair soft every time.
Even my mother asked me what I did to my hair. No more secret!

The bottle costs $ 8.99 for 355 ml. A bargain!

A little plus:
We may read on the bottle it is completely free of 1,4-dioxane and ethylene oxide, two known and proven carcinogens that often contaminates bodycare products.

I strongly encourage you to try Attitude products which are of course not tested on animals. :-)
I've never been disappointed.
